Cleaning, validating, and updating your existing customer database is crucial for the flawless operation of your business. While we are still preparing fully automated self-service cleaning directly in our online administration, you currently have two options to process your data today: either process it yourself using our local Foxentry Data Cleaner tool, or let us do the cleaning via our individual service.

Want to clean the data immediately and by yourself? Use Data Cleaner
If you need to treat the database immediately and without waiting, reach for our Foxentry Data Cleaner tool. It is a standalone application that you run locally on your computer (Windows / macOS / Linux). It is especially suitable for sensitive data and strict corporate guidelines – your entire file remains on your disk and is not uploaded anywhere as a whole, yet you run the data through the full power of the Foxentry API.

💡 When to choose Data Cleaner and when the individual service?
Data Cleaner is ideal when you want to have your data fully under control, process it yourself, and immediately. If, on the other hand, you don't want to deal with any tools, have a very neglected database, or need custom cleaning, use our individual service described below instead.
How does the individual database cleaning work?
Instead of you having to complexly upload files and map columns yourself, we will handle the whole process with you personally. You will save time, and we will make sure the validation runs exactly according to your needs.
- Contact us: click the button above and write to us via the contact form (or directly to our e-mail). Let us know approximately how large a database you need to clean and what data it contains (addresses, e-mails, phones, names, or companies).
- We will agree on details and sign a contract: we pride ourselves on maximum security. Before handing over any data, we will conclude a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with you so that you have absolute certainty your data is safe (we detail data protection and processing here).
- Data handover and analysis: you hand over your source file to us via a secure channel (most often in CSV, XLS, or XLSX format). Our team will look at the data and give you an exact quote for the scope and price of the work.
- Cleaning and returning results: once we agree on everything, our technicians will run the data through internal validators. Depending on the size of the database, this process takes anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. Afterwards, we will securely deliver the corrected and clean database back to you.
What data can we clean and fix?
Our uniqueness lies in the fact that we don't just mark erroneous data as invalid, but we automatically correct it right away. Thanks to this, you can extract the absolute maximum even from a very neglected database and won't lose valuable contacts. In addition to the correction itself, we can also enrich your data with useful supplementary information.
- Addresses: we will fix typos in street and city names, fill in missing or incorrect ZIP codes, and check whether the address actually exists in the official registry. Moreover, we can enrich your database with exact GPS coordinates, official address codes, or information about regions and districts.
- Companies and ID numbers: even if you only have a partial company name or a name with a typo in your database, we will find the correct company ID, VAT ID, and official registered office for it. We will also check whether the company is still active, whether it is a reliable VAT payer, and we can supplement its legal form or data box ID.
- E-mails: we will check deliverability and detect non-existent or full inboxes. But most valuably – we will automatically correct common typos (such as
@gmail.cm,@seznam.c, or@volny.cx), so your mailing campaigns hit the target. - Phone numbers: we will unify the number formats in your database (e.g., automatically add the missing international prefix), verify whether the number is still active and reachable, and find out which operator it belongs to.
- First names and surnames: we will correct typos in names, unify capitalization, and remove nonsense characters. In addition, we can automatically determine the gender for each name and generate the vocative case (salutation), which will make your future e-mail personalization much easier.
